Mortehoe village
Mortehoe is roughly two miles from Woolacombe's main beach by road, with coast-path access and a quieter village feel. It is excellent for walkers and couples, less convenient for families planning repeated beach runs without a car.
Mullacott and inland lanes
Further from the beach, usually more car-dependent, and sometimes better value in peak weeks. This works if you are using Woolacombe as a North Devon base rather than spending every day on the main beach.
