Croyde works best when you plan the beach and village separately
Croyde Beach has useful facilities nearby, but they are split between the beach approaches, the Moor Lane and Baggy Point side, and Croyde village. For a family day, do not treat "Croyde facilities" as one fixed seafront strip. Decide where you will park, where the nearest toilets are, and whether food is a must-have or only a fallback.
North Devon Council lists public toilets at Moor Lane and at Croyde Village Centre. National Trust visitor information for Baggy Point lists a car park, tea-room, toilet and accessible toilet. Food, surf hire, lessons and cafe service are more variable, so check current operator pages or signs before relying on them.

North Devon Council lists the Moor Lane public toilets as open 24hr, with unisex cubicles, a disabled cubicle, RADAR National Key scheme support and baby-change provision. This is the most useful official toilet listing for the beach and Baggy Point side of Croyde.
Croyde Village Centre
North Devon Council also lists Croyde Village Centre toilets as open 24hr, with unisex cubicles, a disabled cubicle, RADAR support and baby-change provision. Use this as the village fallback, not as a reason to leave beach-side needs to chance.

Food and drink
Bring basics, then treat cafes as a bonus
Croyde is not short of food options in the wider village and Baggy Point area, but openings, menus and service times change with season, weather and staffing. Cafe Croyde Bay's current site gives its Baggy Lodge, Moor Lane address, describes food and drink, and says to check opening hours on its own page.
Bring water, snacks and anything a child needs before they get tired or cold. Then check current cafe, village shop or pub hours for a proper meal. Avoid relying on a specific hot food option, dietary item or evening opening unless you have checked that operator on the day.
Access
Match access to your parking choice
Croyde's facilities make most sense when paired with the right arrival point. If your day is mainly the beach, use Croyde parking to choose a realistic start rather than chasing the closest-looking space on a map. If your day is Baggy Point, National Trust Baggy Point is the key current source for car park, toilet and access notes.
National Trust information says Baggy Point has uneven surfaces, Blue Badge parking, an accessible toilet, designated parking and an easy access path suitable for wheelchair users with coastal views. Treat that as Baggy Point access context, not a promise that the beach itself will suit every mobility need.
